Why Paddle Angles Can Be Confusing

When players first learn about paddle angles in pickleball, it can feel like trying to solve a complex puzzle. This is because our bodies are capable of incredible flexibility and movement. We can bend and rotate at the shoulder, our elbows provide additional range of motion, wrists can flex and rotate, and even our forearms can twist.

This means that a "45-degree angle" isn't as straightforward as it might seem - it depends on multiple factors including your body position, the ball's height, and your distance from the net.
